How to become an NDA Officer?


National Defence Academy is a good for those candidates who want to make a career in NDA. NDA Services consists of the Army, Navy and Air Force.  Only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible to apply for NDA Exam. After 10th you are not eligible for NDA Exam. One you need to have completed 12th class from any stream. If you study physics and mathematics at 12th class so you can appear any of the NDA Services.

Three steps to become NDA Officers: First step is NDA Written Entrance Exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission and second step is Interview by Service Selection Board and third step is Medical Test by Service Medical Board. The NDA Entrance is dividing into two stages Mathematics and General Ability. Time duration of each subject is 2 ½ hours. The objective type of questions in the NDA Exam. Maximum marks of Mathematics are 300 and General Ability is 600. After clearing the NDA Written Exam you will be called for 5 days interview process by Service Selection Board. It is most difficult stage in the whole selection procedure of NDA. The mental ability will be tested on each day of this test. After clearing interview procedure you will be medical test. A medical test by Service Medical Board. Only those candidates are admitted to the academy who are declared fit by medical.
