NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is a national level exam. NDA Exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) two times in every year. It is joint service academy of Indian Armed Force. It is first tri-service academy in the world.



 About NDA Exam: The NDA candidates are chosen by a written exam and intelligence and personality test by Service Selection Board (SSB).

NDA Written Exam: The NDA Written Exam divided into two papers- mathematics for 300 marks and general ability for 600 marks. Each paper is for 2 ½ hours. All the questions will be objective type and available on English and Hindi.

Intelligence and Personality Test: This test evaluates the personality and intelligence and mental aptitude of the students. This test includes group discussion, psychological testing, followed by a medical test.

Medical Exam: A medical exam by a Service Selection Board (SMC). Only those candidates are admitted to the academy who are declared fit by medical.

What is SSB in NDA Exam?

SSB stands for Service Selection Board . It is a part for becoming officers into the Indian Armed Forces. It is the final round of NDA Selection. The SSB Interview round divided into two tests first is psychological aptitude test and intelligence test. The SSB Interview round is 5 days interview process. It will be tested your mental abilities on each day of this test. SSB Interview is only for those candidates who have cleared the NDA Written Exam. Stage I: The stage consists of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception and Description Test (PP & DT). Stage 1 is a screening test.
